Work for more than just floors
Comprehensive expertise of all aspects
Experience that gives piece of mind
Care for wood that still deserves a place
DJ Andrew & Son Wood Restoration and Finishing restores worn, damaged, and ageing wood with a practical eye for what can be saved and how it should look when the work is done. From furniture to internal doors, I focus on bringing back character without stripping away what makes each piece worth keeping. Scratches, dull finishes, loose areas, and worn surfaces can make good timber look past its best, even when the structure is still sound.
I carry out stripping, polishing, and finishing with judgement that comes from long experience. I bring wood restoration services with work that suits both period features and everyday household pieces. If you've got timber on your property that looks worn out but still has life in it, I can help you bring it back properly.
Restoration work tailored to each customer
Some pieces need careful surface preparation, while others require a full refinish to uncover the grain and colour hidden beneath years of wear. I carry out French polishing and wood finishing where necessary, and I can also restore staircases that have taken years of knocks under daily use.
My 50 years in the trade help me judge when a gentler approach is the right one and when deeper restoration is worth doing. DJ Andrew & Son Wood Restoration and Finishing works on wood in homes and on projects where preserving the original look matters. Contact me today to discuss your restoration project.
